Ms. Rines Hammond earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Ball State University, graduating summa cum laude. During her time at Ball State, she showcased her commitment to academic excellence as a member of various honor societies, including Phi Kappa Phi, Golden Key International Honor Society and routinely made the Dean’s List.

Her legal education took place at Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio, where she earned a Juris Doctor. Ms. Rines Hammond’s academic achievements in law school included receiving the CALI award for the highest grade in Antitrust Law, the Corporate Law Certificate of Achievement and multiple appearances on the Dean’s List.

Actively engaged in Grant County, Ms. Rines Hammond has contributed to the community as a member of the Marion North Rotary (Past President) and the Grant County Economic Growth Council (Past Board President – Current Member), Grant County Boys & Girls Club (Past President), Circles of Grant County (Past Board Member) and was awarded Young Professional of the Year by the Marion-Grant County Chamber of Commerce in 2017.

Within the legal community, Ms. Rines Hammond serves the Indiana State Bar Association (ISBA) in various capacities, including serving as a Board of Governors Member (2019-2021 & 2023 – Present), Litigation Section Board Member and Chair of the Young Lawyers Section (YLS).
