An Ohio native, Angela moved to Grant County at age 15, when her dad (since retired) began working at the General Motors plant.
The Eastbrook High School graduate has an associate degree in business administration from Indiana Wesleyan University.
She worked for county government for 15 years, seven as Grant County administrator, after getting her start from Jay K. Walters, the former Grant County assessor and auditor.
Angela likes to spend her spare time up at Kuhn Lake boating, riding wave runners and just being outside. She also like spending time at her parents’ house out in the country on five acres.
Her grandfather was a Korean War veteran. She said she is glad to be in a job where she can help people.
“I got a taste for working with people to help them, to connect people in the community,” Angela said about her county work. “I want to stay in the community and help make it a better place.”
