Todd A. Whitehurst

Marion, IN

Todd is excited to expand his law practice to include Veterans Disability.

The Marion, Indiana, native and Marion High School graduate enlisted in the U.S. Army when he was 17. “My parents had to sign for me,” he said. He served for five years, travelling to South Korea twice, then-West Germany, Panama and Hawaii, among other places, retiring at the rank of Sergeant E-5.

Todd’s family has a proud history of serving in the military. “We have an unwritten rule in the family. Men have served since the Civil War if they were medically able.” Three of his four children are in the military.

Todd served for 15 years as a patrolman with the Marion Police Department – and is a disabled police officer.

He is proud that he attended college and law school while he worked full time over seven years. He has a bachelor of science degree from Indiana Wesleyan University in political science, pre-law and criminal justice. He graduated from Western Michigan University’s Thomas M. Cooley School of Law.

Todd is an avid woodworker who loves building furniture. He has been turning bowls lately.
